“I would rather die of passion than of boredom.”

-Vincent van Gogh

Feminine person smiling, holding a paintbrush and wooden palette outdoors. She wears a gray ribbed sun bleached polo and has dirty blonde hair with blue eyes.

Art made with passion and heart.

My goal as an artist is to increase the feeling of connection in an increasingly disconnected world. I use themes of passion and vulnerability in my paintings, presenting vulnerability as a strength.

As an oil painter, I explore these themes through portraiture and figure painting. I like to capture fleeting moments of love and warmth so it can be felt a little longer. I like to use bright colors to convey warmth, passion, and playfulness.

When people look at my work, I hope it makes them smile.
